"Sable Maze: Sullivan River Collector's Edition is an atmospheric, well-made hidden object adventure game that explores the theme of recovery from a frightening childhood event. Years before, six children disappeared at Summer camp while playing at an archeological dig of a Celtic Labyrinth. As an adult you are still traumatized by the event and now must overcome nightmares about it. You return to the Sullivan River camp to help you remember what happened and try to solve the mystery. The graphics are great, the atmosphere is immersive and the music and sound effects are appropriate, including ghosts that pop up from time to time. The game has a good level of challenge, but the hidden object scenes are not too difficult and there is a good balance of these with entertaining mini-games. The cut scenes are very well made, with actors and drive the storyline well. The characters are great and bring their own surprises in the story. The locations are exciting, with lots to do. There is an interactive map, a journal and threee levels of difficulty to choose from. Some inventory objects work in pairs and are available for use only when both parts have been found.
