PuppetShow Mystery of Joyville Game Tips & Hints:
- There are 13 chapters in this game.
- There are story scenes, hidden object scenes and mini-games.
- Single sparkles or multiple sparkles can appear on story scenes. A single sparkle shows an interactive area. Clicking here may let you may move to another scene, exit out of a scene, or you should investigate the area more.
- Multiple sparkles show there is a hidden object scene available. Click on the sparkling area to display the hidden object scene.
- A list of objects is displayed across the bottom of the screen. You must find these objects.
- Use a Hint to find an object, if you need help. The Hint button is in the bottom left of the screen. When you use a hint, a circle will appear around one of the objects left on your list.
- Hints are available only in hidden object scenes, and the Hint button appears only in these scenes. Hints are unlimited, but you must wait 60 seconds between each Hint, for the button to recharge.
- When you've found all the listed objects, one of them will become an Inventory Item. You use these items to complete tasks.
- You earn one Inventory Item for each hidden object scene you complete.
Inventory Items are displayed in the Tools area at the bottom left of the screen. Click the - Tools button to see all available items. Use the arrows to scroll through all items when the Inventory is full.
- To use an Inventory item, click on the Tools button, select the item you want to use then drag it to the relevant place on the screen and click to use it.
- The cursor changes shape, depending on where you are and what you are doing. A Magnifying Glass means you should zoom in to an area of the screen. You may find an Inventory Item, or be shown clues to help you complete a scene, or a mini-game may be triggered.
- When the cursor becomes a Hand, you can pick up Inventory Items or explore an area. In some hidden object scenes the hand means you should click on an area to uncover a hidden item. This might be a piece of cloth that needs to be removed, or a cabinet that needs to be opened.
- If you see an open door, move your cursor there. If it changes into a Globe you can click to travel to another location.
- Instructions for mini-games appear only at the start of a game. If you need to see the instructions again, exit the mini game. When you return, the instructions will be displayed again and the mini-game will have been reset.
- You can skip a mini-game. Click the Skip button when it is fully charged.
